The first steps of the new crisis law: critical interpretations and operational proposals

Now in its tenth edition, the conference in Milano Marittima on the legislation governing business crisis management – organized by the University of Bologna and the Ravenna Association of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts – was dedicated, this year, to the new business crisis and insolvency code.

The pairs of speakers – coordinated, on the afternoon of Friday, 31 May, by Judge Bruni, President of the Insolvency Division of the Court of Venice, and, on the morning of Saturday, 1 June, by Judge Florini, President of the Business Division of the Court of Bologna – discussed the main provisions introduced or amended by the business crisis code: the organizational structures of businesses, the alert and assisted crisis resolution procedures, access to the business crisis and insolvency solutions, business crisis arrangements with creditors and winding-up by the court.
